Since young, Shannon lived a simple and humble life. His parents have been working hard just to put food on the table. This made Shannon have a strong desire to become a better version of himself and achieve financial freedom to allow his parents to be able to rest easy. Even though Shannon had to go through a longer route in his education, he never lost sight of that goal. 

Shannon chose the financial services industry because he saw the importance of it in his life. When someone close to Shannon was suffering from a prolonged illness, yet unable to afford the expenses in spite of having “some” insurance, he was determined to never let anyone suffer the same. That was when he made up his mind to ensure that everyone in his circle and beyond never face the same experience and challenges. 

Previously from a different financial services company, Shannon felt he had bottlenecked and found a lack of progress in his career and his personal development. That was when his friend, Desmond Cher, reached out to him and showed him what Above & Beyond Partners is all about. Shannon accredited his success so far to the support he has received as well as the culture of never leaving anyone alone. The spirit of giving and sharing of knowledge and experiences was not limited to just the Agency Leaders, but extended to the entirety of Above & Beyond Partners. With them, never a day went by being dull and mundane.

Shannon achieved many milestones with Above & Beyond Partners when he joined and has never looked back since. In a short few months, he cleared his first milestone award, FasTrack (2023), as well as buying his first dream car. He is striving to achieve his first Prestige Bronze & MDRT so as to further cement his faith that he has changed a significant number of people’s lives for the better and secure their futures.
