Desmond joined the Above & Beyond Partners family towards the end of 2020 immediately after his Full-Time National Service. Known to everyone as “Ah Huat”, his straightforward and cheerful attitude spread a very infectious positivity within the team and his clients.

Desmond always had a strong entrepreneur mindset. Before joining this industry, he was once in the durian trade as a supplier, a chef, as well as assisting in sales at his old business. All these past experiences helped Desmond propel his business into greater heights. Now, he works hard in the financial services industry to serve clients, nurture individuals, and meet his monthly goals, all while staying healthy and fit. This flexible yet rewarding career keeps him running.

To Desmond, education is a lifelong learning journey. Working with Above & Beyond Partners has trained him very well professionally. The holistic and multi-faceted personal development has helped him. Therefore, one of his goals in the company is to pass on the same support to all future leaders.

Today, Desmond is a MDRT Qualifier (2023), achieving his Quality Club Elite (2022, 2023), StarClub (2022,2023), as well as a Premier Bronze qualifier (2023). He has also achieved his Life Club Bronze award (2022). On top of these qualifications, he was able to be promoted to be an Wealth Director in a short period of time, proving his ability to manage both personal sales and grooming new and upcoming talents.
